Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah We, we are blessed to announce that we have successfully purchased the property at 106 Kearney St. on September 30th, 2025, for $1.15 million.

This is a tremendous milestone for our community — but it is only the first step. Now, we are in urgent need of your support to cover the estimated construction cost of $600,000.

Mission Statement

The Mission of Darul Uloom Masjid is to provide a secure and comfortable facility where Believers may gather for the worship of Allah Al-Mighty and to develop, support, and promote a comprehensive Islamic way of life as delineated in the Noble Qur'an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) by providing religious, spiritual, and educational services.

The aim and purpose of the Darul Uloom Masjid shall be to serve the best interests of Islam and of the Muslims of Paterson, New Jersey. Towards this end, Darul Uloom Masjid shall aspire:

  1. To establish and maintain a House of Worship for congregational prayers and Islamic religious observances at appropriate times.
  2. To help Muslims carry out their activities in pursuance of Islam as a way of life. To apply the Islamic principles and practices to ourselves and our children to maintain Islamic heritage for the future generations.
  3. Promote friendly relations between Muslims and non-Muslims.
  4. Provide Islamic services to meet the needs of the Muslim community
  5. Conduct social, cultural, and other religious activities in the best traditions of Islam
  6. Provide financial aid/social resources for Muslim families in need
  7. To maintain an Islamic school for children to promote Islamic education.
  8. To operate an all-girls madrasah to produce Hafizaat and Alimaat.
  9. To inspire people for religious consciousness and spiritual development,
  10. To network with interfaith organizations to encourage mutual understanding
  11. To conduct all religious communal affairs in accordance with the teachings of Islam.
